F.A.Q.

1) Who are you people?

The smartass answer would be, "We are Jersey City Shirts... duh!" Today, though, we need to go beyond that, at least just a little bit. Jersey City Shirts was started by one René Rosa and hopefully will expand to more people, provided things go KABOOM!

2) Why shirts about Jersey City?

Jersey City, NJ is one of the largest melting pot cultures you will ever find. Every possible type of person is represented here and they all need to have snarky shirts with ridiculous stuff printed on them. A simple " I ♥ Jersey City" shirt would just be boring and really not what we're about. We've got a lot more to offer in this city than boring shirts, so why not make that finally a reality?

3) Can you make custom shirts for my grandmother's 14th marriage to her pet donkey?

First of all, please send us video of that madness. Secondly, we are not really a screen-printing company. With that being said, as long as you have your art ready and know exactly how many shirts you want, we can help get you a quote and work from there. I'm still shocked about the donkey.

4) So are you just going to be making shirts related to Jersey City?

It will be our main focus but sometimes an idea will be too brilliant, hilarious or disgusting to pass up. We might make a shirt about some of our favorite movies, music, cartoons and videogames, as long as it is done in a way that we won't get sued for. Not everyone can be TeeFury. Those lucky bastards.

5) I have some ideas for shirts you can make!

We do too! We have so much in common! We should totally go out on date, as long as you are buying! Seriously, though, so many ideas are constantly churning but pulling that trigger is expensive. We can't pay anyone for unsolicited JC Shirt ideas at the moment, so unless we are asking for ideas you might not want to give them to us, unless you really just want the shirt to be made and have no interest in credit for your creativity.

6) Can I design shirts for you? I'm a great artist!

This is a little bit different than the previous question, but we're still not in a place to be able to pay designers much at the moment. Once we are, though, we'll probably announce that we want some awesome artists and will then talk about payment terms, etc.!
